We live in an over marketed, busy world. Where moms need to be everywhere and everything.
If you can take a second to slow down. I know it is hard when you need to be everywhere. But if you can slow down and assess all the things going on.
And take two seconds to take care of you. The later is real important because if you don’t take care of you, you can’t take care of everyone else.
Now back to that assess thing I mentioned.
If you can take 30 minutes and assess where you are spending your money, where you need to be everyday and what your goals are you will start saving money.
As people in today’s every busy economy we have a habit to run on overdrive and during this busy we grab a coffee here and take out there and maybe over shop the grocery budget a bit.
It is normal! I have done it sometimes more than I want to admit. One 21 day work away cycle for my husband I over coffee ordered my days just to keep going to make sure everything got done.
Yes, this titled my budget a bit sideways but I made it work. Taking two seconds to just ahhhh and assess things is important. I have now added an additional travel mug to my mornings for tea or coffee and now I can start saving more money.
It doesn’t have to be complicated, simply take count of where you spent money the last week. Did you order coffee more than usual or travel out of town? Are the kids growing and need new clothes? Did you order take out after soccer practice?
I have done everyone of these things at one moment or another. You can read all the things we stopped doing to save money. Life gets busy, we get busy and choosing the easy route is just plain easier sometimes.
Making simple, easy changes to help you save money.
Opting to make simple changes to save money is easier than you think. For example I bought a second travel mug for my tea or coffee instead of spending $5 a day when I need that extra pick me up. I even bought some new teas to make it more appealing and fun.
