So which items were you surprised with now knowing that you can freeze them? Are you going to add them to your grocery list? I was surprised with eggs and honestly it would save so much time and money to freeze scrambled eggs to add to baking or quiche. I also never thought of freezing the cheese end bits to add to sauces and soups. This is a good money saving idea.
With this list my freezer will be full in no time. Think of all the money you can save. Buy the items on sale or in bulk, divide them up and freeze them. We regularly freeze fruits, vegetables, meats and bread products. In my freezer I have a bag labelled soup stock that I add vegetable scraps to for bone broths and soups.
