Yes, personally I think bananas are one of the best foods to freeze. Bananas are a fast ripening fruit, being able to preserve them helps in saving money and the loss of produce. Frozen bananas are great for adding to smoothies, baking and dipped in chocolate they make a nice treat.

Most foods including freezer meals can be simply placed in freezer friendly bags or freezer friendly containers and added to the freezer.
Fruits, berries, some vegetables, meatballs and individual food servings will freeze better first on a baking sheet then once frozen can be added to food storage bags. This makes for easier access to limited serving sizes.
