I am Cynthia, the primary blogger here at Saving and Simplicity. I am so glad you are here, grab a cup of coffee and join us on our journey to debt free living.   Saving and Simplicity started initially with our search for a simpler and more fulfilling life away from the concrete jungle of the big city.

Our lives changed

Like a large number of families our family has gone through income growth and job loss, career changes, family illness and life lessons.  Our lives changed and our goals changed, we wanted to be debt free and able to live the life we were meant to live as a family.  To share our gifts and knowledge with the world.

I get it I really do

I get how hard it is to struggle with paying the bills and making things work when someone loses a job.  I understand how discouraging it is to work so hard and to never see results.

I also know how it feels to start winning the fight, to feel the confidence when things start working, knowing you are on the right path.  To have someone in your corner guiding you and supporting you.

You can do this, you can get out of debt, you can save and provide for the life you want to live. You can do it. Don’t give up.
