1. Have a picnic
Pack up all your favorite sweet and savory treats, grab a blanket and have a picnic.
2. Go for a walk
You only have twenty minutes while the kids are in an activity. Grab your partner and go for a walk, catch up and enjoy the company.

Hit up your favorite coffee shop for a coffee and conversation. Or make a great dessert at home. Sit on the patio and enjoy a great coffee, dessert and conversation after you have tucked the kids into bed.

Tuck the kids in to bed and cook up one of your favorite meals together. Pair it with your favorite wine or beverage of choice. Maybe add in a great dessert.

This is on the top of my husbands list. Plan an over night camping trip. Send the kids to Grandmas. Get out and enjoy the fresh air and nature.

Do you have a favorite bar or restaurant in town that offers great appetizers during happy hour? Plan your date around it. Cheap beer, cheap eats and great company.
11. Go to the antique store and window shop
Where we live people will browse the flea markets, estate sales, vintage stores and antique stores. You can find some of the coolest things right in your own backyard.
12. Scavenger hunt
Plan a scavenger hunt with a bunch of other couples. You all have a list of items you need to get in a certain amount of time. Or maybe you plan an amazing race with activities and pit stops.
13. Do a food tour
Maybe you have a bunch of local farmers markets, breweries or wineries. Do a tour and try something new.
14. Star gazing
Get out of the city and find a spot you can see the stars. Spread out a blanket, relax and gaze.
15. Go on a nature hike
Maybe you like to bird watch. Or maybe your partner is really into the outdoors. Spread your wings, get out and investigate. Challenge yourself, see how far you can hike or what you can find.

Take photos of each other or go take photos of your city.

This is a big thing locally. You do a painting project and it is paired with food, wine, beer or coffee. You get to keep the painting or project and you get to try something new.
