What do you do that you would consider extremely frugal?
After reviewing this list I can honestly say my Grandparents did a majority of these things. My Grandma saved tin foil pie plates and reused them for baking, crafts and food storage. They would preserve everything and sewing was a required skill.
I remember being younger and our neighbor canned everything. She had shelves and shelves of local produce canned for use throughout the year. A stockpile to the envy of all stockpiles.
Currently our family gardens, preserves the bounty, uses hand me downs, mends what we can, reuses jars and containers and we enjoy no spend family weekends. Frugal living is a great way to save money.
