Create your own DIY homemade bug repellent. In a spray bottle create a 50/50 vinegar and water solution add 10 drops of mint essential oil and 10 drops either geranium or lemongrass essential oil. Shake to combine and spray effected area to remove wasps.
Vinegar Is A Great Wasp Repellent
Vinegar can be used to keep wasps away. A mixture of vinegar, water, mint essential oil and geranium has a strong odor which wasps don’t like. So a spray bottle containing these will help repel wasps from an area.
Wasps Hate Peppermint
Wasps like most bugs don’t like peppermint so a solution containing peppermint essential oil is a great wasp deterrent.
Wasps Hate Geranium
Wasps are not fond of geraniums so planting a few in your garden or marigolds will help deter the bugs.
Pet Safe Wasp Repellent Spray
Anything naturally based is safe in moderation and can become poisonous if over used. Ensure that you keep all bug sprays both chemical and natural away from the kids and pets.
