Meal time favorites are great. Simple, five ingredient or regular dishes your family loves. For breakfast my oldest would say muffins or Paleo pancakes. An easy win for lunch or dinner in our house is burgers or anything on the grill.
If I’m in a time crunch between work and activities breakfast for dinner or simple soup and sandwich combos are always great.
Meals don’t have to be complicated
It’s true meals don’t have to be complicated to be great. You don’t have to use expensive ingredients and spend a whole day cooking to provide for your family.
Simple meals with a few ingredients can help you get dinner on the table, save you time and save you money. Plus simple meals you love will help keep you out of the drive thru and on your way to more cash in your wallet.
Opting for a simple meal plan, cooking from scratch and stocking the freezer will become your new frugal adventure.
Taking 30 minutes to make a double batch of muffins, cook a simple meal or prepare your favorite freezer meal will help make your life easier. Plus it will help keep your budget on track.
Eating out, hitting the drive thru, making expensive meals you name it, it wrecked our budget. Learning to cook simple meals my family loved, stocking our freezer with great foods and learning great Instant Pot time saving recipes all helped in making my life easier, more productive and helped us save money.

simple meals that can be made in a pinch with a few ingredients:
- Oatmeal with fruit
- Yogurt and granola
- Scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs with toast and fruit
- Begal and cream cheese
- Avocado toast
- Homemade pancakes or french toast
- Nut butter and toast
- Fruit or green smoothies
- Breakfast burritos
