7 Ways to save money on your next amazon purchase:
1. Amazon Deals
Amazon is updating their merchandise daily which means amazing deals on their everyday prices. Plus Amazon has a specific section for daily deals. And we are talking deals! I have seen merchandise 25% off, 50% off and occasionally you can find a great deal at 75% off.
These are everyday items you use on a regular basis. Housewares items, baby supplies, books and more.
2. amazon coupon
If you have shopped Amazon Grocery before you may have noticed a clip coupon button. This gives you the opportunity to save money with digital coupons offered by Amazon and their sellers.
These “clip coupons” come on grocery items, diapers, formula and some housewares items. It’s worth the savings to clip these coupons.
3. subscribe & save
If you have a regular item you purchase on Amazon consistently every month you could save up to 15% by taking advantage of their subscribe and save program.
There is over 30,000 items in their subscribe and save program. We take advantage of the subscribe and save savings with diapers and formula every month.
Later in this post I will let you in on how I save over $100 per month on diapers and formula without really doing anything.
4. Price tracking
It’s time to use the Amazon cart to your advantage. Have you ever loaded your Amazon cart full of stuff and had to exit and go do something, come back and the prices are different?
You can now price track with the Amazon cart. And you can do this a few different ways.
Say there are a couple of vendors selling the same item you want and you add them to your cart. Once you get to the cart you can see who has the better deal and who is offering free shipping, coupons or bonuses. Simply delete the item you don’t want and purchase the better deal.
The other way to track prices is when you aren’t in a rush for stuff. You casually add items to your cart you know you need, just not right now.
Amazon will send you email reminders noting these items are in your cart. After a few days you will notice these items go down in price to entice you to shop. Take advantage of these discounts on the items you need.
5. Cash rebates
This has got to be one of the best ways to save on Amazon and it’s as simple as click and shop. Rakuten is this amazing new online shopping app that offers you cash rebates on all your online shopping.
Rakuten works with online retailers like Amazon, Walmart and other great retailers. Take advantage of Rakuten and get a free $10 bonus gift.
Amazon has amazing sales if you are willing to spend a few minutes looking through their stock. There is an Amazon Outlet full of thousands of discounted overstock items. Some of them under $10.
Amazon also has Warehouse Deals on quality used items like cellphones, tablets, cameras, computers, household items, furniture and so much more. Shop millions of pre-owned items and save huge amounts of money.
7. Member freebies
Where else can you get a load of free things that you actually use, want and need? Plus you can try Amazon Prime for free for 30 days.
With your Amazon Prime membership you get:
- Free Delivery
- Free Schedule & Ship
- Free Movies
- Free Music
- Free Shows
- Free Books
- Early Release of Best Sellers
- Free Games
- Great Customer Service
- And So Much More
How I save over $100 a month on baby supplies with Amazon
After shopping around I found the formula and diapers we use on Amazon for cheaper than our local discount retailer. I added both the formula, diapers and a few other items to the subscribe and save program saving an additional 15%. Some of the items had clip and save coupons which was a great bonus savings.
I also added Rakuten to my Amazon account and I saved an additional discount on my items. Plus with Amazon you can shop around the different vendors and find the best products, the best product size and the best price. All in all I saved a huge amount of money without even leaving my home and the items were delivered the next day.
